Founded in Japan in 1994, GOHEMP is widely recognised as the country’s first apparel brand dedicated to hemp. From the outset, the brand approached hemp not as a novelty, but as a practical solution, a fibre that could deliver comfort, durability, and longevity while remaining environmentally responsible.
At a time when synthetic fabrics and trend-led design dominated the industry, GOHEMP took a different path. The 3-Tuck G-Jan Jacket (One Wash) provides a cleaner alternative. Cut from lightweight one-wash hemp denim, its pleated front adds subtle structure while maintaining a relaxed, wearable feel. Featuring the iconic triple pleated front which was a design oriented around creating a one size fits all jacket for workers who could simply cut out a pleat if the jacket was too tight.

Trousers
The Painter Pants, a GOHEMP staple, are available in both used wash and one wash. The used wash delivers immediate character and softness, while the one wash offers a more traditional denim finish that will develop naturally with wear. A good old fashioned utilitarian, workwear inspired pair of trousers.

The Easy 5 Pocket Pants (One Wash) rework a familiar silhouette with GOHEMP’s hemp-cotton denim, offering everyday comfort and versatility without unnecessary detail. A good solid pair of pants in our opinion.
